RVSGLOBE PHASED ARRAY AND TOFD TRAINING IN HYDERABAD
PHASED ARRAY AND TOFD TRAINING FROM THE RVSGLOBE NDT TRAINING CENTER
We at RVSGlobe offer Ultrasonic PAUT inspection with a great probability of detection. Due to its high capacity for variable beam angle scanning and beam steering features, ultrasonic phased features enable superior detection ability of discontinuities in a single sweep among ultrasonic PAUT array methods.
Ultrasonic phased arrays is a method in advanced NDT training with advanced techniques which uses multiple elements to probe where the output pulse from each element is time delayed. Hence, it produces a constructive interface at a specific depth with a specific angle.
The timely delay procedure can vary as per the angles and also it can be increased as per the specified angle range to sweep the beam over the angular ranges as per the necessity.
For Example: Consider 40 to 75 degree to beam sweep would be produced by calculating the time delays to produce constructive interference at 40, 41, 42, …75 degrees and so on.

WHY CHOOSE RVSGLOBE TOFD – TIME OF FLIGHT DIFFRACTION
TOFD technique is a computerized and automated system for weld inspections. TOFD is capable to scan, store, and evaluate indications in terms of length, height, and position with a proper grade of accuracy which is never achieved by any other ultrasonic testing.
TOFD testing has two blind zones where it cannot have a sensitivity to defects. Hence, TOFD requires supplements of conventional pulse-echo examination of the far and near walls. Time Of Flight Diffraction is originated from tip diffraction techniques. TOFD is a sensitive and accurate method among the Non-Destructive Testing of welds of defects.
TOFD contains a pair of ultrasonic probes which sits on opposite sides of a weld. The transmitter as one of the probes emits an ultrasonic pulse which is picked up by the probe on the other side likely receiver. In various undamaged pipes, the signals received by the receiver probes are from two wave’s likely one which travels along the surface and other that reflects off the far wall. Diffraction of the ultrasonic wave is set from the tip of the crack to fill throughout the crack. The depth and situation of the crack are identified by measuring the time of flight of the pulse for the respective crack.
RVSGLOBE FEATURES OF ULTRASONIC PHASED ARRAYS TESTING:
To perform ultrasonic phased arrays testing and TOFD testing, a team of professional, trained and experienced candidates are required which can be achieved by our ultrasonic phased arrays testing training in Hyderabad with certification program.
